Re BENTLEY INSTRUCTION BOOK.

We have carefully looked through the proof submitted, and would call attention to one or two items which may need revising:-

Petrol Tank Capacity - on page 16, the capacity of the tank is given as 18 gallons.
On page 22, under heading of "Fuel Feed" this is confirmed as follows - it states the main tank is arranged to provide a reserve supply of 2 gallons, its total capacity being 18 gallons, thus leaving 16 gallons on main supply.
Under the heading however of "Fuel Tank with Reserve Supply" on page 68, it states that the main fuel tank is arranged to provide a reserve of 2 1/2 gallons.

Page 59, on a section dealing with decarbonising, paragraph 2, mention is made of the split taper sleeve. We think it should be stressed that it is very desirable that these sleeves be kept in pairs and replaced on their own Valves.

Page 99. The last paragraph reads "5000 miles of 1/2 year." This is obviously a printers error, and should read "5000 miles or 1/2 year."

Page 126. Near the bottom of the page are two lines printed in italics and refer to the regulator. It states that in case of defective operation traceable to the regulator, the unit must be removed and returned for rectification to the makers. On page 109 this regulator is listed as a part not made by Bentley Motors, and the part in question has no indication marked on it as to its origin.
Will the owner be somewhat in quandary as to where he should send it to if at any time he finds the unit ineffective.

With regard to C10/C2.2.34 - Cooling System. Is not the query raised in this paragraph answered under "Frost and anti-freeze Mixtures, Page 107, Paragraph 4.
