| To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} x208 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}19/KW.10.4.35. Bentley Induction Pipe. You are making an experimental induction pipe to EX.18310. For further tests on SpectreCodename for Phantom III development, will you please instruct the pattern to be altered as shown on the attached drawing - i.e., the angle between the induction ports and carburetter flange to be 47° instead of 17°. This to be done when sufficient castings have been taken from EX.18310 at 17°. We are tilting our Bentley engine at 30°, to reproduce SpectreCodename for Phantom III conditions, and a comparison in this way is the quickest way of doing the job.
