Dear Sirs, re Instructions for Charging and Operating Exide Starting, Lighting and Ignition Batteries in Ebonite Boxes for 40/50 H.P. Rolls-Royce Cars. i.e. Instruction Booklet included in your Instruction Book. We beg to acknowledge due receipt of your letter, reference "EFC1/AD," of the 15th instant, and note with interest your proposals regarding the re-arrangement of the instructions relating to batteries in your main instruction book. We have gone very carefully through all the notes accompanying your letter and have adopted all your suggestions with very slight modifications, which we think you will agree are perhaps an improvement. The suggestions are scheduled on the attached sheets. We have retained the notes which accompanied your letter but are returning the copy of publication No.4050, in order to make our notes explanatory. We would point out that the figures given in the table of the booklet are more accurate than those given by the rule and from which you have apparently prepared the table on the first page of your notes.
