Digne 6th March 1924 X9680 X9946 Mr E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Hives Rolls-Royce Ltd Derby Dear Sir, Please excuse my having not sent my usual report these last few days, but I have really been so very busy up to a late hour at night that I could not manage it. I have very little to report - as stated in my P.C. from Montecarlo this morning. we left the said place after lunch on our way to England, via Grenoble, Aix-les-Bains, Paris, etc - The Car does not give any cause for complaint & I attend to it to the best of my ability. The brakes are fairly good & I have now definitely left on the Shaft giving 80% increase on the Servo & the lever you sent me to be fitted on the Pedal Shaft - The mileage covered up-to-date is 2951 - We manage the prinking of the engine nicely whenever I can get Benzole & I have a provision with me for the journey to Paris - Previous to the present journey I have inspected & cleaned all over the Car | ||
