X4617 To Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} from EFC. c. to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} EFC2/LG14.2.24. 40/50 HP. X.4617 - NEW P. & R.{Sir Henry Royce} AND EXIDE BATTERIES. Answering your Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}2/NJ13.2.24 and with reference to BY2/F14.2.24. We may say we entirely agree with the remarks contained in the latter memo. It is emphatically our own experience that once these bolted connections are correctly made, there is no tendency for them to become slack. Also that we have not heard of any definite complaints on this score. Therefore, we are in agreement that we shall confirm to the P. and R.{Sir Henry Royce} and Exide companys' that this type of cell-to-cell connection should be retained. EFC. | ||
