Road Tests

TO MR. ARM. FROM MR. CH.
URGENT

After the first 15,000 miles test, the car should continue running for a total mileage of at least 30,000 & preferably 50,000 miles. The remainder of the mileage after the 15,000 to be done under more normal touring conditions without particular attempt to wreck the car. The mileage could be done in France by the regular gang, although the present suggestion of giving Testers who do not do much driving some experience of road conditions is obviously beneficial.

The brakes ought not to require relining under 15,000 miles, the servo should last 50,000 miles, the suspensions should last the whole 50,000 miles including rubbers & spring interleaving.
