S45 & SPRINGS D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} 54809. Origin: To reduce volt-drop and overheating of cut-out. Report of Experimental Test: With ventilated dynamos heavy currents can be taken without distress but it is necessary to fit double contacts on the cut-out to deal with the extra load. Three cut-outs modified have run :- 14,000 miles on Ph.III chassis 32-EX. 13,000 " " " " 36-EX.
