TELEPHONE: BEVERLEY 321 GRAMS: ARMSTRONG'S SUSPENSION. The Gordon Armstrong Patent Suspension COMPANY LIMITED WALTHAM WORKS, OPPOSITE ST. {Capt. P. R. Strong} MARY'S CHURCH, BEVERLEY E. {Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} YORKS. GORDON ARMSTRONG. A.M.I.A.E. F.Inst.PAT. N. O. {Mr Oldham} TILL. OUR REF: YOUR REF: -2- Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. 7th October, 1936. The dimensions affecting the steering on this job now are 4° of caster, and the difference between the standard wheels and the ones you have sent will give you the offset. At the moment, I am perfectly satisfied to say that it is a really sound job. Should you like to have the car over again with these wheels on, I would be very glad if you would arrange a day for me to come over. I expect to be going to the Show on Tuesday afternoon - the 13th - but I could come to Derby on Monday or Tuesday morning on my way down, whichever suits you better. Yours sincerely, p.p.
