Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. For the attention of C.H.Grylls, Esq. Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 8th inst. in connection with D.W.S. portable hydraulic jacks as discussed in conjunction with Bentley cars. We regret to hear that one of the experimental jacks has been found leaking, and on receipt of this from you the writer will personally inspect the unit. We shall also go carefully into the matter of fitting this jack with a horizontal handle as you suggest, and do not think there will be any serious difficulty in carrying this out. With regard to price, it is difficult to say at this stage what reduction can be made on the jack, but naturally we shall go very carefully into this when the times comes and when we know exactly what attaching fitting you require. It is possible also that by the time you are in a position to place a contract for this equipment, our manufacturing costs may have been reduced which will, of course, ease the situation. Assuring you of our closest co-operation, We are, Yours faithfully, For DONALD SESSIONS & COMPANY LIMITED. [Signature] Director & General Manager. DWS/IKS | ||
