(For the attention of H.E. Price, Esq.)

Dear Sir,

Re your letter - ref. HEP/HM.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}330 19/12/38. Unfortunately, our skidpan has been unusable during the recent long spell of wet and the present icebound conditions, so that we have been unable to test the special 6.50 x 16 tyres. We shall, of course, do so at the first opportunity as we are very anxious to try the tyres in question.

The 5.00 x 17 wheels are on test, but we have not yet made any decisions regarding these.

Yours faithfully,

For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
