Re Front Axle Pivots.

Mr Royce wires as follows:-

"Can standard cars previous to 1900 be considered safe for the present. This refers to those not having straight cross tubes. Awaiting experiments with elastic cross steering tubes and old pivots."

I have replied as follows:-

"Cannot consider cars previous to 1900 satisfactory. Cars which have proved defective are 1795, 1649 and 1800E. Hives proceeding with experiments on elastic cross steering tube and old pivots. Not allowing cars to leave repair shop unless fitted with present type pivots."

Will you please, therefore, press forward with the elastic cross steering tube and old type pivot experiment.
