STANDARDISATION of CHASSIS PARTS.

COMPLETED 1.1.23.

Description of Parts.
BIJUR TYPE BENDIX DRIVE FOR STARTER MOTOR.

Origin.
To improve reliability.

Experimental Test Report.
The present Bendix Drive fitted to the 20 HP. is unsatisfactory because of the torsional springs breaking and because the teeth on flywheel are badly damaged after about twelve months service. The Bijur type Bendix is a definite improvement.

Road Test Report.
Fitted to 7-Goshawk-11 car. The starter has been operated 8,000 times - we consider this is equal to at least 40,000 miles.
