Messrs. British Thermostat Co.Ltd.,
Windmill Lane,
Sunbury-on-Thames.
MIDDLESEX.

For the attention of Mr. Martin-Hurst.

Dear Sirs,

We are today forwarding to you a master thermostat casing for setting our thermostats to EB.3509 (your drg. BGA.3786).

This has been fitted with stainless steel inserts where necessary and is complete with stainless steel setting valves (one spare one) and valve nut. It should be used for setting all our production units and also for any experimental units which are supplied. Please note that this master casing and fitting remain R.R. property.

We have examined your thermostat drg. BGA.3786 and find that the dimensions agree with our own EB.3509. We are altering the latter to show the same bellow top plates as those on BGA.3786.

With regard to our order for one thermostat to EB.3509 we would like you to increase this order to two such units - we are forwarding the necessary covering order

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
