Initial and pass on Mr Furner Mr James Mr Mee A.T. T G.S. RBP Roy{Sir Henry Royce} S. OK. D36/DL5.11.19. X.1775 I am requested by Mr. Claude Johnson to advise you that we are not to refer to chassis at all. He instructs me to circulate as follows : All drawings for the 6-cylinder new 50 H.P.chassis should be marked "Vulture Engine", so that outsiders may be under the impression that it is a new Aero engine. For the same reasons, the 12 cylinder is to be called the "Buzzard Engine" and the 20 H.P. chassis the "Goshawk Engine". Will you kindly advise your assistants of this. J.D. | ||
