X4342 B EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 2/T. 20th June, 1921. Messrs. Brolt Ltd., Oldbury, Worcs. x973 x4359B x4342B Dear Sirs, Starting & Lighting Equipment. We received your letter ref. H {Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} /H of the 10th inst. Further to our EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 2/T of the 9th inst. we now send to you revised copies of Specification of Electrical Operation of two sizes of dynamo, also Electrical Specification of Cutout. Will you kindly allow these for the dynamo to replace those previously sent to you. You will find that they do not differ materially, but that our requirements are expressed in a somewhat different manner. We should like to know whether you have stock apparatus which would comply with these specifications. We desire, if possible, the carcase diameters to be 6" for the larger dynamo, 5" for the small dynamo, and 4 1/2" for the small starter motor, which we stated was to work against an engine torque of 500 lb-inches with a gear ratio of 8.4. If you have not stock machines which would fit these particulars, you will no doubt inform us of what you would be prepared to do, when the whole matter will again be put in front of our Chief Engineer for consideration. Yours faithfully, Enc. | ||
