| S/W Mr. Hives X5840 C.H.R./4/23.V.23 In accordance with arrangements made by E.J. with you this morning we are utilising the India Chassis for London until it can be moved to France. There will be little opportunity of driving this car under real testing conditions during this time and I would much like to have some opportunity of doing this before the 10,000 mile test is completed. I am going over to France for 17 days on July 31st. and shall be at the Grand Hotel Cosmopolite du Golfe at Wimereux about 6 miles North of Boulogne from 31st July to 16th August. Will it be possible without seriously interfering with your testing to send the car up there for say two days so that I could take it out jointly with your driver or drivers? Will you please let me know immediately whether you think some arrangement of this kind could be made so that I may get the definite approval of the administration to this. C.H.R. | ||
