Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 1305 Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}6/ML.5.4.40. BROKEN FRONT SUSPENSION LEVER. The facture of the front susoension lever on the 11.B.V. is very disturbing. Will you please arrange to have every other cast steel front suspension lever polished round the point where this fracture took place and crack tested with paraffin and chalk. When the cast levers have been done the forged levers should receive similar treatment. The Transport should be warned that they must not run 30.G. further until this test has been carried out. We should treat Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}'s. car immediately. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
