To DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} 45830 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn{Mr Robinson}/LG1.12.27. BODIES. X4675 X8830 We wish to take the opportunity of running a really good example of a fabric covered body on the next 10,000 miles test 20 HP. In any case a new body will be required for this car as it will be a longer chassis. We have never yet tested a Weymann type of body experimentally; we believe our 10,000 miles test would be of great value to the coachbuilder and to ourselves in knowing what type of body to recommend. We should like to know whether you could take up the question of obtaining what you consider to be the ideal body for the next 10,000 miles 20 HP. At the same time we should like to know if you have a body which you could recommend for the 40/50 HP. so that we can get one made with a view to future tests.
