For the attention of Mr. F.J. Hardy.
Dear Sirs,
During the Motor Exhibition at Olympia, we entertain a number of guests from French automobile factories, and Mr. Louis Dufresne, Chief Engineer of the Peugeot Co., has asked if it is possible for him to get an introduction to someone in your organisation.
The writer enquired as to just what he is interested in, that is to say, whether motor car or aeroplane, and it appears that he is most interested in your steering gear mounting as well as gearboxes, and has asked if it is possible for him to have a look at your departments engaged on these units.
We therefore take the liberty of writing to ask if you will be willing to meet Mr. Dufresne, in which case the writer will bring him up to the works sometime during the Motor Show, the actual date of which can be communicated to you later.
With thanks in anticipation of your kind courtesy in this matter,
We are, Yours faithfully,
For BRITISH TIMKEN LIMITED.
