x.985 Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}/GEA.5/AG.15.8.21. FC 16 AUG 18 RECEIVED RE PETROL. Referring to your memo Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG.11.7.21., we have endeavoured to arrange with the Stores to receive all supplies of Petrol, but they point out that on account of the considerable delay in booking in, some time would elapse between delivery of the Spirit and the return of the empty drum, and Chat. suggests that each drum when received should be opened at once, and if same is found not to be full that the contents be measured, and any shortage reported to this Office. We shall be glad to hear that you will act on this suggestion. Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} [Signature] | ||
