LeC.4536 showing the felt lined air silencer.

The felt should be stuck to the surfaces with adhesive, in addition to being fixed with staples or rivets. Staples are only used on the internal fixings and rivets are used on the outside cylinder and the end plates on account of appearance and wiping down.
