Roy{Sir Henry Royce}/AW.1/HT.1.8.36.

There are 36 Phantom lll. Clutches 11 of which are fitted with raybestos facings and 25 with ferodo facings .125 thick.

The whole of the Clutches should be returned at once to Messrs Borg and Beck and an initial order will be issued to cover the fittings with No.6. Ferodo facings.

As Dr L.L. Smith is visiting these people tomorrow an Experimental car will be at the works at 8.30.a.m. to pick up the whole of the 36 Phantom lll. Clutches plus the 9 Clutch Hubs G.84544 which have been handed to the stores today.

It is understood that Borg and Beck will have approx. 24 Phantom lll Clutches ready tomorrow which Dr LL. Smith will bring back, therefore no object will be served in retaining 12 of the foregoing Phantom lll. Clutches.

Will Sft{Mr Swift}/JMW please see that the 36 Clutches are handed to the Despatch Stores so that this matter can be cleared up.

ROY.{Sir Henry Royce}
