(2) LeC.5448 modified relief valve, deleting non return valve. (3) LeC.5415 rubber joint ring under top flange of liners. A.1.2.B.5.6. Hepworth & Grandage liners. A.3.4.B.3.4. Standard ". A.{Mr Adams} 5.6.Bl.2. British Piston ring Co. (4) Std. W/M bearings but R.R. 56 shims. (5) "Hykro" crankshaft with extra and opposite hole in each journal. (6) Buick Harmonic damper. (7) Connecting rods with modified panel milling to ease production difficulties LeC.5330 and bolt head recesses modified (LeC.5295). (8) 4 port cylinder heads with solid rocker gear LeC.5441. (9) A side springs Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}260 (Swedish wire made by T.S.C.). B " " EB.3256 ( " " " R.R.). (10) LeC.5401 short duration camshaft with long toes. (11) Special fine grain fabroil idler wheel. (12) Filter body with raised inlet for sludge trapping LeC.5352. Work to be carried out as follows :- (1) Power curves with normal tinning as received on the bed with tappet clearance at .008, .012, .016 and .020. (2) Check power + tooth 6° early and 6° late of the normal timing with .012 clce. Curves 1 and 2 open exhaust. | ||
