(1) With reference to 7-EX, this car would be a suitable one to fit up with hydraulic shock dampers, as it now definitely has steering wobbles at 65 m.p.h.

(2) It would be a suitable car with which to change the front axle to the light type.

(3) It would also be suitable for fitting the steady to the steering column although I do not complain that this steering has any very distinct vibration due to insufficient support. The only reason I think can account for this is that it is fitted with medium pressure tyres, which so very definitely reduce the shocks to the steering as well as the steering column vibration, in fact, they are one of the cures which might be applied to a customers' car about which he is dissatisfied. It would be necessary however at the same time to fit the hydraulic shock dampers. I am sure that this combination would do much to please the customer, and might be quite good policy.

The real cure for road shocks to the steering wheel is slow pitch large dia. worm.

But if it were found impractical to change the steering box we might fit slower steering and medium pressure tyres. Mr. Arthur Gibbs would be a good test case although he does not complain definitely.

(4) Improved silencer and cutout with stop.
