can say conclusively whether this is correct.
We are still keeping one car running fitted with 'L' shaped rings. The instance we reported of the 'L' shaped rings reducing their efficiency we found was due to the oil consumption of the engine increasing as a whole because when the standard rings were put back, we found that the oil consumption was still so much higher compared with the original tests with the standard rings.
