X1204 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}25/KW. Exptl. Dept. 30th June, 1936. The Trent Navigation Co.Ltd., Cavendish Bridge, Shardlow, Derbys. Dear Sirs, On the 27th April we arranged verbally with you to rent an outbuilding for the purpose of storage, at the rate of 2/6d. per week. Your account for eight weeks rent has now come up for payment, but our Accounts Dept. point out that there is no written agreement on the subject to which they can refer. We shall be glad therefore if you will write a note, stating that you agree to renting us the floor space in question for an inclusive sum of 2/6d. per week, at the same time describing the building. We suggest that this agreement should be made subject to a month's notice on either side. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
