REMARKS:
Modification to 20/25 rear brake shaft bearing is being carried out on all cars as they become available. Depot Sheets No. Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}229. New 20/25 cars have improved lubrication scheme to outer bearings. Also increased clearance being given to footbrake on synchromesh cars. See Depot Sheet No. Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}246. This is having further attention of Experimental Department.

REMARKS:
Inefficiency on 20/25 is now being dealt with by re-lining the servo and fitting oil guards, to Depot Sheets Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}224 and Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}232. Oil feed to servo is now deleted on new cars, and Depot Sheet is being circulated instructing retrospective action. In addition, a test for servo efficiency is being instructed to Depots.
