We are sending B-23-AE car into the shop shortly for the following work to be carried out :- (1) Fit B-17 unit in place of B-3 unit (hand latter over to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Mths{Reg Matthews}). B-17 unit is ready for this purpose. (2) Fit lightened type torque reaction damper as instructed in BY/CS.2/EH.26.8.35. (3) Fit standard 10/41 rear axle. Remove present axle and ascertain reason for its present noisiness. (4) Fit standard front axle and pivots. (5) Fit standard bumper bar. (6) Fit standard isolated change speed lever scheme. (7) Fit standard thin rim steering wheel. (8) Fit standard set of sheet metal floorboards, to be supplied by Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} We should like you to give us a date on which you will have the necessary parts completed to do this work and on which you can therefore accept this car.
