To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/JD.{J. Draper - Frames} c. to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} Clau Gen? (17?) Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/JD.{J. Draper - Frames}1/SW.6.3.41. Layout of Chassis Garage, Fitters, and Stores. Please receive herewith the attached blueprint :- PL.513 Proposed position of Chassis Stores and Garage Fitters Bay. As requested, working in conjunction with Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager}, we have investigated the possibility of providing room for the Chassis Stores, and an extra Bay for the Chassis Fitters. On PL.513, we show the Stores as a continuation of the Stores at present there. The floor area for the new Stores, is 714 square feet, which should be ample as the floor area at present is approximately 500 square feet. We have also taken half a bay off the Aero fitters adjacent to the existing Garage space. This space represents a floor area of 530 square feet. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} agrees that this will be sufficient. Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/JD.{J. Draper - Frames} | ||
