-2- Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer}12/KW.12.2.35. (7) Owing to the small dia. (0.587) of the bore of the Marles steering tube, it will be necessary to omit the outer control tube as at present on R.R., and use the next smaller tube, i.e., the mixture control tube, as the stationary tube. The mixture control should be arranged on the dash as on 25 HP. (8) For the purpose of assembly it will be necessary for the upper end of the Peregrine steering tube to pass through the upper cover of the box (part M.20718). This means that no part of the steering tube must be more than 1.250 dia. The attached sketch Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1773 shows the modifications necessary to attain this. Will you please return the Adamant print at your convenience, as this is the only copy we have. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/F.J.Hardy: | ||
