Bowring} 9/KW., and note that the suggested scheme is not considered satisfactory by your Design Office owing to the question of clearances. As suggested, we are preparing a drawing showing the internals of the Jacks. Meantime, we would appreciate it exceedingly if you would kindly give us an opportunity of exchanging the sample set of jacks which we had the pleasure of fitting recently; whilst we would prefer that you very kindly send this car to Town again, just in case this procedure is inconvenient we should be pleased to undertake the necessary work at your end. We are, however, most anxious that you have experience with this latest set. In the event of your agreeing, we shall have a further opportunity of investigating the question of axle fittings and jack clearances. Thanking you in anticipation for your kind collaboration.
