Dear Sirs, We are in receipt of your favour of the 30th. instant enclosing a blue print of the Bentley cylinder head gasket. We have made a number of gaskets with our joint rings used as the sealing member for the compression; also for any oil holes that there may be coming up through the cylinder head. The best way for you to try our joint rings we think would be for us to make you a complete copper gasket combining our rings, to the drawings sent. We shall be glad to hear that you agree with this suggestion and if there are any particular holes which are subject to pressures other than the cylinder bores, we shall be pleased if you will give us this information.
