To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} c. to BJ. c. to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} c. to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} X8430 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn{Mr Robinson}5 /LG29:10.26. PHANTOM TYRES. X4565 X8430 With regard to BY/Cghll/H28.10.26. We consider that rather more information should be given with reference to the Phantom tyres than was supplied with the 20 HP. balloon tyres. The reason for this is that the Phantom attains much higher speeds and the steering is very much more susceptible to high speed wobbles if unsatisfactory tyres are fitted at incorrect pressures. We are supplying some notes which we think should be incorporated in the Instruction Book. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} | ||
