COPY. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} re 9.B.V. --------- The main complaints I have had about this car are as follows:- 1. Thumps and thuds in the back. Tightening up the rear shock ab-sorbers has not cured this trouble. 2. The gearbox, which is now terribly noisy. 3. The axle, which is beginning to groan badly. 4. The idling is not satisfactory. 5. Brakes. When these are applied in an emergency the rear wheels lock. 6. A distinct engine period is coming up at high speeds again, which I attribute to deterioration of the damper.
