My dear Johnson:-

Our sample magnetic Petrol Guage for your car has only just been completed and I have much pleasure in sending it now to you for testing purposes. The present troublous times are perhaps very opportune for carrying out experiments.

If you find our guage satisfactory, of which I have but little doubt, we could supply your Company with guages in about four weeks from date of order.

Kindly let me hear from you, or ask your Works to write me, and believe me, with kind regards,

Yours sincerely,
(Signature of Frederick R.{Sir Henry Royce} Simms)
