" W O Bentley is taking over Bensport for three or four days test. He will arrive Paris Wednesday evening Arrange for driver to meet him at Paris showrooms Thursday morning. Keep Dodd if necessary until he can be replaced. " HIVES "Just received report of accident. Roberts and Taylor should come home when able for a rest. Sending out Dean to-morrow. Keep Dodd." HIVES. Dodd has returned here with the Bensport and having driven fast in the long stretches from Paris to here used up all the oil. The consumption consequently looks like being very poor for the long sustained runs. Dodd will leave here Wednesday mid-day for Paris with the Bensport and meet W O.{Mr Oldham} Bentley Thursday morning. Roberts will go up to Paris with him and then by train home. Taylor who is alright with the exception of his damaged hand is leaving here to-day. The tyres have not arrived for the Bensport. I understand they have been sent, please verify. We are having the photos taken of the Bensport at Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}'s request and these will be sent off as soon as possible. 3 PER. 11. Re Grylls memo.
