Phantom III Chassis.

We attach herewith a list of the design work completed on the Phantom III chassis during the last month, and in addition particulars of design work in hand.

Clutch.

The designs for the clutch casing, clutch operating mechanism etc. to suit the revised clutch have been completed and issued.

Damper Control.

A design has been completed and issued for a Rolls-Royce damper governor control to replace the present Arens control which has been found to be inconsistent in the effort required to operate it, and has in consequence been adversely criticised from time to time.

Propeller Shaft.

Design instructions have been completed covering the adoption of a standard Hardy Spicer propeller shaft.

In addition to the above numerous minor schemes have been instructed either to reduce cost or to deal with modifications found necessary as the result of normal development work.
