X 4622 To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from EPC. c. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} EPC2/T12.5.24. X.4622 - ELLIOTT AMMETER. We are handing you herewith an Elliott ammeter which has been carefully tested in our Dept. and is the nearest to, though certainly not so good as the Weston instrument, which we have so far had. In fact it is considered that it would be a satisfactory alternative in case of failure of supply. It could not, however, be standardised as an alternative, without a 10,000 mile test. Would you kindly therefore have the instrument fitted to chassis 98-NK, in place of the Weston ammeter at present therein. EPC. Fitted prhi. | ||
