Station : Dagenham Dock, (L.M.S. Rly. Tilbury Section.) Your Ref. .................. Our Ref. ...... KP/7. 18th January, 1933. Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd. Derby. For the attention of Mr. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} West. Dear Sirs, We have your letter of the 11th instant and note the results of your tests on the two Dagenite batteries but we do not quite understand your remarks concerning the capacities obtained. From the particulars you quote, the 6.BGD9.SG{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} gives the larger capacity exceeding that of the 6.GLD11.SG{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} by approximately 12.3 ampere hours, but we suggest that the batteries be given a few cycles of charge and discharge owing to the probability of the available capacity not being developed. With regard to the spare apparatus for the high rate discharge tests, we regret that this is not available owing to its disposal elsewhere. In the meantime, we await the results of your further tests. Yours faithfully, PETO & RADFORD. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Preston. | ||
