Will you kindly issue an experimental number for pistons made in the following alloy -

93% aluminium.
7% copper.
adding .5% magnesium.

Mr. Kesterton is anxious to try this particular alloy.
I am of the opinion however, that no deparature should be made from the standard alloy until experiments have been run to verify the qualities of the metal in question. We are at present using 93% aluminium, 7% copper.
