Dear Sir:

Re - TEMME EXHAUST HEATER - DERBY'S ORDER 4158.

We take pleasure in advising you that the above heater has now been received and before dispatching to Derby, we have submitted it to our Engineering Department for inspection and their report on same. As it may prove of some interest to you, we quote from Mr. Olley's report as follows:

"The sample of above heater has been examined and itemized report is as follows:

1. HEATER (Proper)

The simplicity and cleanliness of the design creates a good impression, and two very desirable features are incorporated, viz:

A large size trap door in bottom of the one piece pressed underpan facilitates removal of any dust accumulation, (+ debris from mats or footwear)

Surronding the heater coil and inside the underpan is an asbestos faced deflecting plate, which in event of overheating minimizes danger of igniting adjacent floor boards.

The top grill is cast aluminum which combines lightness and freedom from rust.

The inlet and exhaust elbows are somewhat rough in appearance and finish, but are simple and rugged.
