X.3419a. RE SILENCER OUTLET PIPE. X.3436.

Please receive herewith a print of "N"
Sch. 345 shewing the modified design of Swan-neck pipe
with a steel stamping for attachment to the Silencer instead
of the present steel castings. The upper flange is an
existing stamping. Mr. Royce has approved of this scheme
and it should be put through experimentally at once,
with a view to its general adoption as soon as possible.
