Testers to initial instructions : HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr}/RH.{R. Hollingworth} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/JRS. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/TAS.{T. Allan Swinden} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Clm.{D. D. Clapham} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/MHR.{M. H. Rigby} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Hlm. Should the instructions require modifying as a result of stripping the same procedure should be repeated. This procedure must not be allowed to slow up the job; it should be possible to contact all the testers within half an hour. Where a tester is not available this fact should be stated in place of his signature. When the chit has been initialled by everybody, it should be approved by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}, or, in his absence, by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FD{Frank Dodd - Bodies}, Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FJH{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer} or Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} If the Fitting Shop want to make any modifications or do some work for their own benefit this should be included in the instructions. In the past, fitting work has been done on the chassis with the best intentions, but the effort has been wasted because it did not fit in with the subsequent programme of work for the car. The following is the proposed order in which cars shall go into the Shop and it will be revised the week ending May 4th. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
