Dear Sirs,

Referring to your letter of the 15th inst., reference HM {Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} /LC. We have received the three filter gauze cups which you have sent us, but although we may be able to use them for our tests, we regret that they are not exactly what we require.

The gauzes sent us are circular pieces sweated into a sheetmetal ring - what we required was a complete cup pressed out of gauze - if you can supply us with three such cups we should like you to do so.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
