(2) I am dead certain we ought not to consider such a small sum of money when we know how to give something valuable for it; I wish I knew how wisely and profitably to spend even more. You will now see why I do not even desire a very efficient magneto that might be thought as good or better than the battery ignition. The case should be reconsidered if we fitted 2 plugs per cylinder, which I do not think is possible, necessary or desirable, (it being such a crowd to clean as we found.) We want the magneto as clear of the tappets as possible, but I do not care what height of centre. I should be prepared to accept a suitable machine from the Watford or Bosch Co. with inspection, and only a careful examination. The ignition is going well on 4.Goshawk 11., and I am very pleased with the car, which I am now driving myself, and can now gauge it's virtues better. The roads are so rough that it takes time to sort out what is bad road, and good car. You will see the reason why I do not want the big sleeve Watford, also I do not want to wait for new or novel designs, but just the Z.F.6. Bosch or it's equivalent which is standard type.
