The Switch is of the plug-in type and is suitable for the control of Street Lighting, Neon Sign, Shop Window Lighting, Heating and Power circuits, etc. It is also ideal for controlling contactors on multi-phase installations. Of special interest are its bakelite housing and plug-in mounting; the interchangeability of the day and solar dials; the day omitting device; the external manual operation feature and the safeguard of all live parts being situated behind the front plate of the Switch.
