Testing three types of K.L.G. sparking plugs for a 30.HP engine.

We have tried three types of K.L.G.Sparking plugs on Corundite insulation. { K.L.G. E.28 G.type earth. K.L.G. E.27 K.L.G. FLB.50.X. internal earth. The three types of plugs gave satisfactory running at all speeds from 5 M.P.H. upwards. The K.L.G. E.27 is favoured as it is fitted with G.type earth, also it has a higher heat factor than the E.28. This will help to counteract any inclination for the plug to oil up. All three types have been tried by the Test Dept. who are of the opinion that they are equally as good as present standard. These tests were done with new plugs, and we are still short of experience on their life, and ability to resist lead fuel under London traffic conditions.
