| To SFT{Mr Swift}/Mr. Brock. X8783 EFC3/T17.5.27. IGNITION COIL No. 4554. Your note of 29.4.27. With reference to your query concerning this coil we have the matter under investigation. So far as the coil has been run on the bench there has been no suggestion of it differing from standard. It will shortly be put through a production test and also a temperature test, after which, if it passes these tests, it will be placed on one of our experimental chassis. We shall ultimately be able to say definitely whether the coil is O.K. or not. The coil will be returned when finished with, but in cases of this kind which need special investigation by this Dept., another coil should take its place on the customer's chassis. EFC. | ||
