48380? EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}2.19/9/25. to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} RE SUBFRAME BODIES AT BARKERS. Re your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 8/LG11.9.25. we would be glad if you would send the 20 HP chassis to Barkers as soon as possible for they are quite ready for it in fact they have been worrying for some chassis to enable them to get on with these Expl. Bodies. Please let me know the date it will arrive at their works and I will at once see that no time is lost in getting the job completed. Re chassis 7EX. I have told them you will let them have it in about a weeks time. The body is all ready and awaits the chassis. The Hooper Limousine on 9 PK is now at the Paint Works being treated with pyroxolin lacquer and will be ready in a week or so, but I understand that there is no great hurry for this body. We want to make the best job possible of the paintwork. What can you do about the subframe cabriolet. "D" steering for the New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I which has been waiting for a chassis at Barkers now for a very long while. Could we convert 9 PK to "D" steering & use that? Regarding the Sports Body, if you will let me know where the body is and when I can have it for a week or so. I will arrange to have the screen, wings etc. altered. This can be done on the dummy chassis on which the original work was done. No doubt you will see me about these matters when you come to W.W. next week. The Riviera Trials is well on the way.
