CONDENSERS.
We have found that the superfine tape with which the battery ignition condensers are wound after assembly is very hygroscopic and if any moisture is present the condenser becomes very leaky.
Will you please arrange to instruct that this tape be deleted from the condenser construction and a non-hygroscopic binding such as oil silk substituted. It may not be necessary to use any binder at all if the condenser is tightly packed in its case with leatheroid or continental Bakelite packings.
